Beverly Perkins has served District 4 with dedication and integrity, championing neighborhood revitalization, stable budgets, and responsive constituent services. A lifelong resident with firsthand experience in local business and community organizing, Beverly believes leadership must earn trust every single day by delivering results without compromising core values
In a world where politics often feels like a series of closed-door deals and broken promises, District 4 stands at a crossroads. Our neighborhood isn't just a spot on a map—it’s where we raise our families, run our businesses, and build our futures. That’s why Beverly Perkins is running for re-election: to ensure that your voice remains the loudest one in City Hall.
Beverly’s campaign is built on a simple, unwavering principle: Integrity over Influence. While others might look for short-term gains, Beverly has consistently advocated for long-term stability. Her leadership style is defined by:
Fiscal Responsibility: Moving beyond "quick fix" budgets to create sustainable, transparent financial plans.
True Accountability: Hosting quarterly town halls because a representative should be reachable, not just at election time.
Proven Results: From neighborhood revitalization to supporting our local small businesses, the focus is always on the people who call District 4 home.
"Leadership must earn trust every single day by delivering results without compromising core values." — Beverly Perkins
To keep District 4 moving forward, the campaign focuses on three essential pillars:
Public Safety & Quality of Life: Strengthening proactive policing and investing in the parks and infrastructure that make our streets feel like home.
Smart Budgeting: Reducing red tape and ensuring every tax dollar is tracked and reported clearly to the public.
Community-First Development: Standing firm against projects that don't serve the local interest, ensuring growth benefits residents first.
This campaign isn't just about one person; it’s about a collective vision for a safer, cleaner, and more vibrant District 4. We invite you to be part of the process.
I will always put District 4 residents and small businesses first, not outside interests.
A safer, cleaner, and more vibrant District 4 through proactive policing support, neighborhood improvements, and robust public services
Smart budgeting, transparent process, and sustainable investments in our neighborhoods
Open door policy, regular town halls, and clear reporting on how every dollar is spent.

Q1: How long has Beverly Perkins been in office, and why does that matter?
A: Beverly was first elected to the City Commission to represent District 4 in 2016. She has served continuously since then, including a term as Vice Mayor (2020–2022). This experience is crucial. She understands the city budget, knows how to work with the other commissioners, and knows which "levers" to pull at City Hall to get things done for the Northwest District.
Q2: What are her top priorities if re-elected in 2026?
A: Her focus remains on the "Pillars of Community Equity." This includes:
Affordable & Workforce Housing: Championing projects that make it possible for lifelong residents and young families to stay in Pompano Beach.
Economic Revitalization without Gentrification: Ensuring that redevelopment in the NW CRA brings jobs and Return on Investment (ROI) to current District 4 residents.
Public Safety & Infrastructure: Continuing her fight against illegal dumping, improving street lighting, and supporting community policing.
Q3: Is she accessible to the people? How can I get ahold of her?
A: Beverly is a constant presence in the community. She interacts with families daily. You will see her at the E. Pat Larkins center, at food giveaways, and at every neighborhood association meeting. She doesn’t just show up at election time; she is "homegrown" Pompano. She invites all constituents to call her office or email her directly.
Q4: I’m not sure my vote matters in a local election.
A: In Pompano Beach, local elections are often decided by fewer than 500 votes. Your vote determines who decides how your property taxes are spent, how often your trash is picked up, and what kind of development is allowed in your neighborhood. Voting for Beverly Perkins ensures that District 4 has a strong, experienced voice making those crucial decisions.
